Lodging a complain

I lodged a claim currently with regards to roof leaks that also damaged the ceiling. I was told the insurance won't assist me due to poor workmanship. I app**** a building loan via them and they evaluated the house ten years ago last month I started to notice leaks due to heavy rains and when I reported they said they won't help. Kindly help me
