Life cover policy

How long does it for standard bank to pay or process life cover policy claims? Because it's seems like it's taking forever and I'm not happy maybe we should take it to court.

My father passed away and he had standard bank life cover, We submitted documents, We were also told he had load but no one can tell us how much was the loan . They promised to update us and guess what we are still waiting.

Please update me on this policy claim
