Insurance provider with the worst admin!

Worst admin and service!

Requested cancellation of our policy mid November due to poor service and always getting excuses when something needs to be claimed. Had to follow up multiply times via phone and email because the cancellation email was just being acknowledged.

Policy got correctly cancelled and we received a letter confirming that the policy will end on 31 December 2023 due to insurance elsewhere.

Two days later got a second letter confirming that the policy is cancelled from the 22nd of December. Meaning we paid an additional 7days insurance in advance and that we are without cover for the next 7days.

You have to jump through hoops to cancel a policy and then Standard Bank Insurance cannot even get basic paperwork correctly done.
