The worst experience ever from am insurance point of view.

Part of my ceiling collapsed on Monday and I lodged a claim to repair. They sent builders to assess and then later rejected my claim. Reason given = brandering was 500mm instead 300mm. I did not build this house, I bought it. The bank expects me to be a builder and an architect, and to have gone inside the ceiling when I bought the house. This is not only unfair, but borders on ********ity. I wonder if whoever rejects these claims ever puts themselves in the shoes of the customer. Since Monday it's been a game of ping pong, what happens to me as a customer.
