i want my money

i took out as life cover with standard bank which i cancelled after couple of days since i was offered something better at a low cost, i called standard bank and i told them they insisted that i think about it they wont debit and i told them i thought about it and i know i dont want it then they said i must send a cancellation letter they will send me an sms with an email i must send the letter to and that never happend and they were debiting from my account then i called again they sent me the sms and i sent the cancellation letter on the 25th and my refund was processed then which i was told takes 7-10 days and till this day i still dont have it, i call them everyday using my airtime spending more money on them yet i still dont get answers, i spoke to Peter who is very helpful compared to the others who keep telling me they will call me back and never gets back to me however he also doesnt understand why i still dont have my money, so if they are failing to refund me R226 how on earth will they pay out a claim of 1 million? also this is worrying me cause i do my banking with standard bank i even have a car insurance with them so if they give me problems with 226 then God forbid anything happens to my car im on my own cause clearly they dont like paying, and through this experience i learnt that you should never have all your eggs in one basket and im glad i didnt take out the life cover with then and now im worried about the car insurance. im tired of calling them and wasting more money and time and looking at the reviews here taking insuarance with them doesnt seem like a good idea.
