In 2014 a bus commute friend told me that she recently bought a house through an agent " Mr Sithembiso Mazibuko" who helped her through and she was happy with his services. So I contacted the agent and we set up a meeting, we met at my work address. He explained the requirements for the Bond Application. Few days later i emailed the Payslip, STD Bank Statement, ID Copy. He told me will do an application for me through the Banks. Later on, he told me I was approved by STD Bank for R250K. He took me to the house, however he just showed me a house in Meadowlands BUT not the house that is registered now. He brought me documents to sign and I did, he took them with. I was instructed to visit Dangors Attorneys in Lenasia where the Bond Registration was being processed and paid +-R5000. I was then told that the house will be in my name after the lawyers process the application. After a month or so, he told me a debit order will be going through my account and i questioned why because u had not gotten the keys to the house. He advised me that the house was a Repossessed house and awaiting eviction on occupants, hence we didn't even get into the house when we went to view the house. So he promised to pay me back for the debit orders until the occupants were evicted. He refunded me for 3 months and I couldn't get hold of him again. I managed to get his home address and went and spoke to his mother, later the agent came back to my home to tell me to be patient, he will evict the people. My debit orders were continuing until I changed banks. Later i went to get his information form the Lenasia lawyers who couldn't divulge any. I visited STD Head Office in Simmonds Street, explained my story and i was referred to Housing Department whom also referred me their lawyers as the account was handed over (Hannes gouws & partners inc). They logged a query and I was told there is nothing they can do as I was negligent and sign the contract. I was advised that STD bank will Auction the house, pay themselves and kept receiving calls to request for payments on the Bond. I was also Summoned to go court. I went to Mokhabukhi Attorneys to assist, paid +-R14000 but after 6 months STD started calling for payments. Someone called me whom was going to Auction the house, he asked me for the address but couldn't find the house. The ERF No 18590 as per Housing Department is the house on the pictures attached which is not the house that was sold to me and known by STD bank. STD Bank is not willing to investigate this matter, I believe the Agent de*****ed me with help from STD bank staff. The house was not evaluated, no proof of paperwork from STD Bank. The house sold to me and the house registered differs. Tracey from STB Bank lawyers told me and advised I should let STD bank auction the house but any other amount out
