Home Insurance Ineptness

My house suffered some structural damage due to floods. The whole patio area was eroded. This happened in January and to date there is nothing being done. A claim was lodged in January, a quantity surveyor was sent out. They were supposed to generate a report and send it to Standard Bank. I am appaled at the service received and the lack of urgency this bank has allocated to this matter. The insurance premiums are still being deducted and yet they remain mum. So much for "moving forward" as their slogan says. Oh! wait, it's changed to "It can be". Well, "It can't be". Standard Bank redeem yourselves while you still can.
