Happy to take your money, but any reason not to pay out...

Standard Bank Insurance is happy to take your premium year after year, and the moment you need to claim, they find any reason to tell you why they can't claim. My boundary wall, which was already built when I bought my house, has collapsed after one of the recent storms. They are now saying it's not covered because the wall isn't strong enough. They are also saying that my gutter which fell down cannot be claimed for because the wooden facia board hasn't been painted. After seeing all these unhappy reviews, I am convinced that I need to change to a different insurance company. This, along with the unfriendly service one receives when phoning their call center.
