Hailstorm 14th of October 2021 Lydenburg

On the 14th October 2021 Lydenburg had a massive hailstorm I logged my claim on the 14th on their website and also called them on the 15th of October I received a claim number numerous contractors came to asses the damages. Up until today it's been a month we still were not helped we started fixing our roof on our own and also started painting our ceiling we now requested a cash pay out because we already started fixing our house they gave us a ridiculous amount that they will pay out we requested a damage report to see what is on the report the asseor informed us they don't have a damage report, they can only give us the Job Card up until now we still did not receive the Job card.... How can you treat your customers that are in trouble like this??????????

Lydenburg was declared a disaster area after the hailstorm and not even that made them realize the seriousness of the storm....

I don't even want to give Standardbank Insurance one star because they don't deserve it.

I'm so so disappointed we have a home loan with Standardbank for 16 years now and this is the way they treat you...
