Hail storm claim

To say I am disappointed with standard bank is an understatement. On the 26th of October there was a hail storm which damaged my windows, electric fence, roof tiles and the paint on my walls. I called standardbank on the 27th. They told me they will send a building contractor, an electrician and pg glass. Indeed the assessors came on the day. PG glass replaced my windows on the day and I paid them.

On the 7/11/16 I called the bank to find out what the progress on my claim was and they told me they were still waiting for a quotation from the builder. They will call him and get back to me. On the 9th I called back and they told me the same story. I called again on the the 10th, same story. I then called their complaints department to lodge a complaint. Everything time I call them they promise to call back and they never do. I received a call from Mohamed on the 11 informing me that he will be handling my case. I never heard from him after that.

On the 14 I called and spoke to Joyce who told me there's nothing she can do for me since I escalated the matter. She was also asking me to hold while she calls the contractor. I refused to hold. It seems as if they only call the contractor when I call them. And they never get back to me.

I asked Joyce why do they want a builder who takes more than 2 weeks to submit a quote to come and work in my house? I made it clear that I wanted the electrician to come and fix my electric fence because my security was compromised. They told me the electrician had given them the quote but they have spoken to the builder to do the fence as well.

I told Joyce that I want my fence fixed asap, we will worry about the rest later. She said she'll take the matter to her supervisor and get back to me. She never did. I called on the 18th and spoke to Anthea, I told her how frustrated I was and that I am tired of hearing the same story about the contractor. When I insured my home contents, I told them I have an electric fence, so I pay my premiums based on that.

I also told them that my security should be treated as a priority. She spoke to her supervisor and confirmed they will do a cash settlement on the fence within 48 working hours. I expected to get my payout latest yesterday. I got nothing. I called this morning and spoke to Monica who told me she's escalating the payout for approval. That's what Anthea said to me last Friday already.

I really don't know what to do. I have spent a lot of money calling and holding for a long time for nothing. This is unfair and I don't know who to speak to because their complaints department is just as useless.

I called again today and spoke to Kagiso. I found a security company to fix my fence since the bank failed me. The reason for my call was to inform the bank that the electrician fixed the fence but then discovered that the lightening damaged the energizer too. Kagiso was willing to assist. I then asked her for the progress on the buildings, guess what, she gave me the same response Joyce gave me on the 15th. "I will ask the builder for a new quote and get back to you"
What I also found strange is that when I claimed, they told me to pay and excess of R750 to pg glass, however pg glass charged me R650 which was the total cost of replacing my windows. Today Kagiso told me that when they pay out money for the fence, they are going to take R750 for excess. I told her that I have already paid pg glass R650 and she told me that I am still liable for the R750 excess
This doesn't make sense to me because this is 1 claim. Why did I have to pay pg glass myself if they are still going to charge me again?
She told me my claim handler is Mhlonishwa, I never heard from him, not even once, Mohamed too, from the complaints department. Why on earth StandardBank has these *********** people on their payroll is beyond me. On top of all that they have service providers who can't even send a mere quotation!
I currently have 2 bonds, I am definitely paying one off and moving to another bank. I cannot afford such pathetic service in time of need.
