Geyser installed with non-compliant part
My geyser burst in 2012 and was replaced after I contacted Standard Bank Insurance. I was told that the new geyser had a 10 year warranty. In April 2016, the geyser burst again and I contacted Standard Bank Insurance. They gave me a long story about \Standard Bank Assist\" having been involved and about the difference between the geyser supplier and the plumber - I don't care, I just want the geyser sorted. When the geyser supplier arrived, he also gave me another long story about his job vs. other suppliers on the Standard Bank panel which culminated in the geyser being installed but with a non-compliant part that the supplier said is my issue to resolve with Standard Bank. I've tried calling the call centre this morning but can't get through, despite holding for an inordinate amount of time. Standard Bank's issues with the suppliers on their panel is not my problem and I resent the fact that it is being made my problem. I pay the insurance premium every month without fail and want the geyser sorted in a fashion that is compliant. Ever heard of customer service?"
