Gate Motto not working

Good Afternoon

I have got a building insurance with Standard Bank now I reported my gate motto that is not working and I had to put a new one and Std Bank said I must send damage report, Invoice and picture of the old and the new motto of which I did. Now they saying they are not going to pay me because the damage report says the motto got damaged because of the lightening and they say there was no lighting in my area on that day. Which day? The day I reported? My question is which day did they check the lightening because this motto started by playing games long before it came to a complete standstill example like opening up on its own in the middle of the night. Closing and opening sometimes getting stuck whilst closing or opening. Sometimes the thunder comes without getting a warning on weather. Are they relying on the weather forecast? I don't understand that they not paying and yet the motto is damaged and its insured just for that. Please take it up with Std Bank before I take them to the Highest court in the world.
