Gate motor claim

*** claim number. Our gate motor was damaged by lightning last week, so I sent through the claim with all documents and photos of motor. The next day we got broken into. It has now been a week!!! The quote from the company we got was for a new motor to be installed because it could not be repaired. Heard back now that are only able to pay less than 50% of the amount and I can not buy a second hand gate motor for R4200 and they say its all that their policy can pay out!!! This is unacceptable and very poor on their side!! We almost pay R1000 pm on our building insurance and this what we are left with!!!! Everytime we have a claim we end up like this!!!!! After our ordeal with the break in that we didnt even claim for we get this kind service we fixed all the locks ourselfs. Today we installed the new motor because we are afraid !!!!
