Exorbitant premium

In March of 2025 I searched for cheaper insurance a si noticed I was paying Iverson R1500 with standard bank. I got cheaper building and content cover with outsurance for my building to value of 2 million. As I did have my house valued independantly. I then called standard bank to cancel and was told I cannot unless.ininsure for 4.1 million. I then stated to consultant as that is too much for my home. And asked her is that what I'm paying for towards my home. As I have never had any conformation or any correspondence informing me.of of this. I have been paying for 19 years and was under the impression that I was paying the value of the building not double the value. They then asked if they can assess the building with their own assessor. I agreed and he too came up with 2.1 million. I then for months tried to get back my over paid premiums to no avail. These people.are clearly daylight ******s as how can one be paying a premium for double the value of a property with no consequences on the part.of the insurer if they are ivercharging. Totally daylight ******* and I even tried the NFO they too had no remorse as they do not contact you or give updates till you send a mail and just 2 weeks back from March I received a reply as my query against standard bank is unsuccessful. Lol that's hiw you get replies until you ask. So all those who have insurance with standard bank should review and check if you not paying a premium for double or triple of your value for your property. It's like buying a uno and paying for a Mercedes. And there is no reimbur*****t they just gain and gain from us dam I am so uoset

This matter has already had a adjudicator from nfo and considering the time I have spent waiting for a positive or more a fair and just outcome it has left me more irate than ever. How can one pay double of what is the actual value, that is the basis of my argument. Shouldn't a reimbur*****t be in order for this. No reasonable person would stand fo this. As a financial institution this is clearly a case to see I was wronged and I have paid,as no correspondence was sent to me via any medium.
