Estate late account

My partner passed on in 2020...then go to Standard bank for his monies since he was banking with them ....we find out that he has R20000 on his account....and had to open a estate late account...so I did not open an account as I already use standard bank.....I submitted all the documents they needed but till to date I haven't received any response from them....his identity number is ***.....
