Don't trust standard bank insurance

For the past 8 years that I've been with standard bank home insurance my roof got damaged by the heavy rain and some of my tiles fall off so I contacted my insurance which I've been paying all the time and they have sent out an assessment team which their decided that the roof got damaged by not maintaining the roof and their rejected the claim. Why on earth will u spent all that money on them and when you need them their look for all kind of excuses not to pay. I'm about to cancel them.
