Don't take a standard bank building/home insurance!

A month ago, I logged a claim for pest control I was told that I would receive an sms with the details of the company to assist me. The call centre agent, scheduled the assessment for two days later. The people who were supposed to come did come through. Two weeks later, I called Standard Bank again, the call centre agent again promised that I will get an sms once the claim has been allocated. The sms only came three weeks later. The company I was allocated to then said they are no longer working with Standard Bank because of no payment from them. My house is infested which is affecting the structure and Standard Bank is sending from pillar to post! I'm cancelling my imsurance with them, with immediate effect.
