4 months now, 4 months since my home was flooded and the restoration work has still not been completed. It was started by painters but they didn't finish the job nor did they clean up very well and they took some of my possessions. As if that weren't enough they still demanded I pay them the excess. The work hasn't been completed, how can I be expected to pay for that? That is not the worst, I was informed that all the damage to the cabinets will not be repaired because they are not sure where the leak is coming from. Even though it was approved, it's now been canceled. I'm not sure which leak the company would like to investigate... The river banks, the dam that burst up river causing the flood, the Vaal Dam sluice gates?
