Did not cover flood damage though it is clearly part of the insurance policy

Around 1 year ago there was two weeks of flood rains in Johannesburg which then flooded through my ceiling damaging walls , ceilings and carpets. Standard Bank did an assessments and I never heard from them again even though the insurance clearly says it covers flood damage.
