Hello i need a help i had an accident on..27/07/2024 my car was not driving it had to be towed.my standard bank insurance approved my claim number SHS/2024/371174 with huson autobody they towed my car to their workshop were by the body repair..was done.on the 05/09/2024 i was informed my car it’s at washing bay..they drove to audi Nelspruit for diagnostic test. 10/09/2024..they informed me my car have clutch and mechatronic issue it’s no longer driving.on the 18/09/2024 Huson autobody repair called me again and saying i need to come to their workshop to meet them and the assesor..which i refused after i asked whom is going to fund the trip from witbank to their workshop in nelspruit.. and what is the reason for me to come and meet them and the assesor under my cost. On the 19/09/2024 then huson autobody (Zinhle)called and notify me that the assesor came and they are declined the claim for the additional ,i should come amd fetch my car without driving, i contacted standard bank insurance many times they told me they refered my additional claim to senior management. On last week huson autobody 31/08/2024 called and said i should give them the nearest place where they can tow my car to because it’s not driving which i disputed and said iam at boksburg that is the place they will il have to deliver the car and after i receive the feedback from standard bank..so today the lady from standard bank called me in the name if Refilwe Bawela told me they they won’t cover it because there’s no damages from outside the unit.surprisingly i never had any issue of the gearbox even a single day, my car was driving smoothly up until i got the accident and the huson autobody drove it in numerous occasion (Nelspruit government complex) without then why it now have to be my problem when the car it’s no longer driving.now Standard Bank with the assessor department they’re saying I’ve to give them the location so that they can tow the car which is not driving.
