My company was contracted by Blackwater Holdings (Pty) Ltd to carry out the above repairs. The work was completed to the client’s satisfaction and within the agreed time frame. According to the agreement, payment was due within 30 days of completion; however, as of today, no payment has been received.

Despite repeated attempts to contact Mr. Dalil Davis of Blackwater Holdings, including multiple phone calls, my calls have gone unanswered. This has caused significant financial strain on my business, as we have already incurred all material and labour costs for the job.

I am requesting that Standard Bank Insurance urgently investigate this matter and intervene to ensure payment is made without further delay. If necessary, I will escalate the matter to the Ombudsman for Short-Term Insurance.

Kindly confirm receipt of this complaint and provide me with a written response outlining the steps that will be taken.
