Claim rejected after contractor destroys my kitchen and dining room floors

<p>There was a water leak in the kitchen. Standard Insurance sent out the plumbers who could not detect the leak as the water was disappearing under the laminate flooring. The plumbing company reported the water leak to standard bank as they closed the water mains and still the outside water meter kept running. Standard Insurance then appointed a flooring company to remove the old water damaged floors so the pumbers can fid the water leak that they reported. Floors were removed, water leak found to be a faulty valvue in die dish washing machine. Plumbers could not detect the leak prior to the floors being removed. Now the claim is being rejected, after the flooring was removed on the go ahead from standard insurance. I have spent about 3 hours on the phone to the call centre and the people there are as incomeptent as the plumbing company sent out to my house. I am now told that I need to log a complaint and fix the floors myself.</p> <p>Standard Insurance, YOUR service providers did all the communication, THEY reported back to YOU. YOU gave the go-ahead to have the flooring removed. YOUR service provider destroyed the old laminate floor as THEY took it out. WHY MUST I NOW PAY TO HAVE MY OWN FLOORS REPLACED DUE TO YOU AND YOUR CONTRACTORS INCOMPETENCE. </p>
