cancelled insurance

I Raymond Hudson, cancelled my insurance this morning they requested that I send proof of new insurance before they can cancel it. that was also sent this morning. I was now told it will take 8 to 10 days before they get back to me regarding the cancellation. I am cancelling because in 5 years we only had two claims of which both were refuted.
