Canceled policy without clients approval

My husband has a funeral policy for over 5years .during month of August he went to the branch at jhb cbd to update beneficiaries. But the guy decided to open a new policy with 6months waiting period. They deleted the old one. Spoke to L Mtimkulu who said they won't reinstate the old on that means now we are not covered till Januaty 2022
