Bad service from assessor

My husband works for Standard Bank which meant our bond be with them. Following that we took insurance with the same bank. Unfortunately our house was part of the Johannesburg houses that were affected by floods on the 9th of November 2016. They assigned an assessor who came and after everything told us to vacate the premises as the house was in an inhabitable condition . We moved out having filled a form for a monthly rental due to us each month that the house was not ready. Luckily, we moved to a guesthouse and the 1st rental amount was paid to us. The 2nd month started with us at the guesthouse but no rental money came through. We called the assessor, he told us the house was habitable. We went to check what was said to be habitable, found a house with mud inside wardrobes, blocked drains, gravel floors - as carpets were removed, no gate, no plumping work done, mud inside kitchen cupboards. We were told to move into that condition as we would not get any 2nd rental amount. He further told us to escalate him if we want - he doesn't care. To this day we never received the money. After some back and forths he eventually sent us a form to fill for the money. It never reached us to date.

We are at a point where we are scared to even call him about the 3rd rental money as we are still not back into the house as its condition as not improved a bit.

Standard Bank Insurance needs to consider vetting its staff members especially those dealing with clients directly. As soon as this house fix is done, Standard Bank Insurance will never see me. I am cancelling and moving to a better insurer.

If anything, please may someone from the Insurance side of the bank contact us and help us get the rental money as we desperately need it and can't afford to be paying for ourselves any longer when we have insurance .

I have added a pic of that habitable house floor for whoever that cares to see. That's what we are expected to occupy.
