BAD CLAIM HANDLING ,UNPROFESSIONAL CONTRACTORS TO DO THE JOB

On 20/10/21 I logged a claim for a leaking geyser, paid the excess upfront. so far so good. On the 21/10/21 the contractor ( NTC Trading Group Free State) arrived with 5 guys to fit one geyser.

On my return home from work I had to find that not only it took them almost 4 hours to install ( the geyser is mounted outside) they also did not secure it to the frame at all, and almost every connection leaked. They also opened the water and switch the electricity on at the same time, resulting in the failure of the element.

on 22/10/21 They sent another 2 guys to rectify the problems, which they did, but they did not connect the electricity because the are not electricians!

i had to phone again to standard bank to adrees this problem. they only told me then that an electrician was coming out later in the afternoon.

The point i am getting to is that Standard Bank seem to use the cheapest plumbers ( and not qualified ) to do the job for insurance claims.
