Automatically loaded policy WITHOUT CONSENT caused double premiums for 9 years
Standard Bank insurance admitted they automatically loaded our insurance policy even though their attorneys instructed us to take out our own insurance policy. Double insurance premiums I paid for 9 years now, with NO claim obviously because I claimed via my own insurance, and Standard Bank insurance is sending us in circles because they cannot fix the mistake they made by automatically loading another insurance policy without consulting the client first whether or not we have insurance. It is only good practice to rectify this and reimburse these funds *******ly debited to my account. I have asked 3 times for the original inception documents used in this policy process but I still haven't been given them?!

11 Nov 2024, 11:30But that's what I mean, I've sent all proof that my wife and I the clients had insurance for the last 9 years, which we were instructed to do by the attorneys assigned to finalize our home loan and yet I've received 2 x phone calls from different representatives from standard bank insurance, neither of them came back to me after promising they would. Ay no the public must just be made aware of cheating and they might make better informed decisions in future.
