stay away from this insurance company!!!! tried providing no stars but i had no option to put 1 just to get this review out there.

you wait for hours on the line and get no help. they always have excuses, well they deserve an award for the type of excuses they can provide.

so a month ago we had a storm and my rear part of my building had a wash trough mounted on the wall, long story short as it poured that wash trough broke. contacted standard bank insurance and then someone called bobs home improvements came over and then a month later I'm still waiting for the outcome. i initially called waited 1 hour and 12 minutes, before someone answered, they said the wash trough broke due to wear and tear, I did check with building companies and was advised there was no way to actually maintain those things and if they broke its by no means through wear and tear as standard bank insurance advised. anyway, they said I will get a detailed report and will move forward from there. 4 weeks have past and still no contact. now because I have this open claim I can't cancel the policy, as soon as they decide what they doing, I will cancel with them and move to outsource.

once again please don't take any insurance with standard bank insurance brokers.
