APPALLING SERVICE - STANDARD BANK STRUCTURAL INSURANCE

Standard Bank building insurance is not even worth the 1 star rating, but unfortunately it is the lowest that hellopeter offers. My home was affected by the April 2022 floods and is still not ready. The appointed contracted work once in about 5 days and the workmanship is appalling. Moreover, a consultant by the name of Prudence Madima somehow became a technician and can tell that an oven is not working because it is old just by looking at pictures of it (after it was damaged by the flood), although the oven was inspected by professional technicians that confirmed it is not working due to water damage. The manager Tebogo Dlepu has blatantly ignored my emails and calls for more than a week. The complaints division is yet to get back to me with regards to my concerns regarding my claim. Rent was due a week ago and Standard Bank is still dragging their feet. My family and I might just be left without a place to stay due to their incompetencies. I cannot wait for them to complete the repairs to home so that I change insurers. Anyone looking for structural insurance, NEVER EVER use Standard Bank!!!
