Appalling service from Standard Bank Insurance

Standard Bank Insurance do not take heed nor act accordingly with customer instruction, and provide no response when resolution to errors is requested. I purchased a property last yesr, which was transfered in February this year (17/02/2025). When signing bond documents I selected that I would not be taking out Standard Bank Insurance, and that insurance cover would be provided by another insurer (Onesure, who my entire portfolio sits with). Confirmation of this was sent to the Bond attorney. Shortly after the property was registered I was contacted by Phumla Slaffa to provide details of alternative insurance on the property to have Standard Bank cover cancelled, which was sent. I further obtained confirmation of cover which I also sent through. I then received emails from Standard Bank with policy wording and confirmation of cover from Standard Bank, which I DO NOT wish to take out, I have alternate cover on my premises. I have sent multiple emails to Phumla requesting this cover to be cancelled immediately, and requesting confirmation that it has been cancelled, as I never ever opted in, to which I have reveived zero response. I have all the supporting documents to support this, Insurance waiver, letter of intent, confirmation of alternate cover, as well as a long thread of emails to which no response has been received. It does not seem to me that Standard Bank pays attention, nor respects clients requests, and simply carries on regardless of what customer needs are. This is appalling service. I need this Standard Bank insurance policy cancelled and removed from my bond account immediately, I am in a situation now, due to Standard Banks negligence where I, in effect, have duplicate insurance on the property, and in the event of something happening I am going to have issues lodging a claim. I have had ill experience with Standard Bank insurance in the past and I do not wish to do business with them.
