Annual increase

Good day,

I have a policy with standardbank and I am very unhappy with my funeral cover. I called last year to cancel the premium increase on all my policies, but to my surprise, my premiums have continued to rise while the benefit amount remains the same.

When I contacted their call center, I was informed that this is how the policy works and that there is nothing they can do. I asked if it is fair for them to increase my premiums without providing any additional benefits.

Additionally, my mother’s funeral cover premium was increased by R89. This situation has caused me a lot of stress. I have been with the bank for two decades, but I have decided to change providers because I feel like I am being taken advantage of without any real benefits.I want the call recording
