I am 24 years old. Graduated in December 2022 and secured my first employment in May 2023. This was my first vehicle to own and likewise, SBIB was the policy of my choice because I bank with Standard Bank. Initially, I made this decision after extensive research with other policies, and I found SBIB to be affordable for me (that time as a final year student).

During my first week into employment, my vehicle was damaged due to floods. I was very unsure of what to do. Super frustrated and worried about my employment. I was advised to claim with my insurance by my employer. To my surprise, SBIB was spot on and assisted in towing the vehicle and conducting an assessment of the damage. Ms Phumi was assigned to my file. I thought it was the worst day on earth when I was informed that my vehicle had been written off. However, to my surprise, Ms Phumi assisted me through the entire process. The claim was concluded within a month.
