4 months and my claim is not settled

My claim was finalised 22 Feb but i didnt get my settlement because the description on the car registration certificate was wrongly captured on first registration of the car. I gave my insurance the car information as i know it and it was not incorrect. I am now expected to fix this before i get paid. I have been without a car for 4 months now. Can someone please help me.......this surely cannot be my fault. Why do i have to suffer for this.
