3rd party claim

I went to 2 mechanical places, a they say they are not registered service providers for Standard Vehicle Insurance, they will not give us a quotation. Standard Vehicle Insurance have to supply me with the your list of service Providers that I can look for the nearest around where I stay. Would you be so can and provide me with the list that can be useful to me, than ne driving around and getting this kind of reply that I received. Thanks in advance. Kind regards.

In order for us to process your third-party claim, you will need to furnish us with the following information / documentation:

Full name and surname Address Telephone number Email address 3 Quotations- Related costs would be at your own account Location of the vehicle Sketch & Description of the accident Copy of your Driver’s Licence Copy of your vehicle registration certificate No Claim Letter from your Insurance or an Affidavit stating you do not have Insurance on your vehicle Photos (360 view of the vehicle, kilometres , damages to the vehicle, licence disc)

Should you opt to claim from our insured’s policy, you should be aware of the following factors:

1. Once you submitted a claim, you may not negotiate, threaten, contact or influence our insured to settle all or any part of your

claim. Failure to adhere to this provision could lead to yourself being prosecuted ********ly or claim for damages instituted

against you.

2. Your claim will only be considered once our insured’s cover is in place and has met all terms and conditions of the policy and his

claim has been finalized.

3. Please note that you need to mitigate your damages, should your vehicle have been towed or stored you will need to

immediately remove the vehicle from such as storage is not legally claimable. Towing and storage will be at your own account.

4. We do not accept liability for car hire and will be at your own account.

5. We do not authorise any panel beater to carry out repairs to a third party vehicle.

6. You as a claimant should provide us with 3 or more quotes for the damages.

7. It remains your responsibility to start the process of claiming against our insured’s policy and to keep track of the progress.

8. Please note we are unable to provide you with a timeline as each matter will be dealt on its own merit, submission of required

documentation and settlement negotiation.

Once we have received all required documentation same will be handed over to our Attorneys who will be proceeding on our behalf and their contact information will be provided to you.
