Standard Bank's breach of a home loan contract
In 1988 I opened my Standard Bank student loan account and have been a customer ever since. In 2000 and again in 2007 I entered into mortgage/ bond agreements/ contracts regarding my primary residence. I was bound to all financial obligations in respect of bond repayments and interest rate hikes. These contracts and their concomitant responsibilities remained in place until my house was sold without my consent in September 2021. Standard Bank failed to obtain my signature on the deed of sale. I was forcibly removed by the police to ensure the successful sale of my house. I spent one night in jail. I have been homeless and squatting in my daughter's flat for the last two years. Today I confronted Standard Bank with the following: They breached their contract with ME..They owe me the replacement value of my house and much more for the pain and suffering inflicted on me and my children. Because Standard Bank failed to honour their contractual obligations towards me, I WOULD LIKE TO ADVISE ALL BOND HOLDERS OF STANDARD BANK TO STOP PAYING THIER BONDS. I paid for many years and THEY STOLE MY HOUSE. They set a PRECEDENT. If they can break their contract with me, WHY SHOULD YOU HONOUR YOUR CONTRACT WITH THEM? It's something to think about and seriously consider. THEY ARE NOT ABOVE THE LAW. Too many people have lost their houses for failing to abide by the terms of their contracts. WHY DID STANDARD BANK SELL MY HOUSE when I have copies of my bond agreements with them?
