Failure to refund unauthorized deduction

In Feb 2025 I made contact with standard bank, informing them of my intention to cancel their insurance as I have found alternative insurance with better rates and cover for my home. Begining of March they debited once again full premium even though everything was sent to them. I disputed the deduction and I was promised a full refund.

I kept following up, on the 28 they confirm refused has been processed bank into my bond however only half of the amount deducted has been refunded

Note that my new insurance cover kicked in 1st of March and their premiums already paid. Standard business ethics are shockingly bad, cheating customers has become a norm
