Refundable deposit apparently NOT Refundable

We slept over at the Stamford in Sydney on the 27th of June. I had to pay AU$ 100 deposit, which I was told I would get back upon departure. I am still waiting for my deposit back. $100 might not he much for you Australians, but I had to pay in South African rand. I have queried my deposit 4 times, without response.
