I worked for the above mentioned **** for about a year and a half. The company required us to work 244 hours a month. They never paid overtime Sunday times or public holidays. Their financial month is from the 20th to the 19th of the next month. But we got paid on the 2nd or even the 3rd of the month outside the 7 day period stipulated by the law. I then exhausted all proceedings but still lost the case of constructive resignation at the ccma. Be warned clients and employees that this is a perfect example of a one of the companies in south africa that holds our economy back. Because everybody knows how the economy works. Companies like this is the cause of our unstable inflation.
