****MERS!

These people are ripping people off! I ordered a fibre connection through VOX Telecoms, and there was an option for a 12 month contract on a UPS device, and I opted in. This order was placed on the 31st of January 2023 (more that 2 years ago). Since then I’ve already cancelled my subscription with VOX. A company with the name of Stage Zero then started sending me invoices for the UPS. And now, two and a half years later, I contacted them to cancel everything, as I’ve been paying for the UPS for 2 and a half years! They told me that the device does not belong to me and they will come pick it up, as it was only a rental agreement. That is absolutely absurd!! Why would I pay more than R100 a month for two and a half years for a device barely worth R1000? Nothing about a rental agreement was ever listed on my contract. It only indicated that it’s a 12 month contract. AND now they have the audacity to tell me that there is a 1 month notice period aswell? This company is ****ming people!! Stay very far away from VOX and Stage Zero!!!
