STADIO issued me with a Distinction officially and later claimed I do not qualify

I am extremely disappointed and frustrated by the incompetence and lack of professionalism displayed by STADIO regarding my qualification results.

My Postgraduate Certificate in Education qualification was officially declared as “achieved with Distinction” on my academic record issued by STADIO. I received this academic record more than once from the institution, and based on this official document, I proceeded to apply for SACE and other professional opportunities using the qualification status provided by STADIO.

What is shocking is that during my graduation ceremony, there was already confusion regarding the distinction being not written on my cue card that we are given which indicates qualification. Also reported the matter to the people who were at venue. STADIO has suddenly changed its position and is claiming that I no longer qualify for distinction because my average is allegedly 74.66%.

What I fail to understand is: How does an institution issue an official academic record stating “Qualification achieved with Distinction” if this was supposedly incorrect? How does this mistake pass through academic administration, records, graduation processes, and official documentation multiple times? Why was this not identified before graduation and before official documents were released to me?

This situation has caused emotional distress, embarrassment, confusion, and reputational harm. I trusted the accuracy and credibility of the institution’s official records. As a graduate, I should not suffer because of administrative negligence and poor quality control.
