My experience at Durbanvilles open day.

Reagan and Jonothan (I think that's his name but his shirt said Jon) were very sweet, kind and patient and answered all of my questions irrespective of how ridiculous they were and they also seemed to answer it very honestly instead of painting an over exaggerated good picture of the reality of the institution like most institutions did which made the expierence better and more convincing to go to the institution.

The atmosphere was very positive, calm ,welcoming and accepting.

The staff, especially the 2 ladies who is involved by student support and the lecturer by the law department, was friendly and helpful and seem genuinely excited to have people there and happy to help people.

For the buildings in itself it was very neat and tidy, including the bathrooms, with a lot of natural lighting which made the institution less intimidating looking and seemed to rather create a space of focus and creativity where people don't get smothered or develop depression.

The coffee shop on campus makes very nice ice coffee's and has friendly staff.

Based on my conversation held with Reagan and Jon, the school offers a lot of sport and support to students in need of it and there is a positive atmosphere in the classes where students don't fear being themselves or asking questions in Oder to grow but should they be shy to answer questions, the professor do offer support and/or answers through emails.

My family and I weren't entirely sure about this campus, especially my dad who seemed more likely to send my to Johannesburg for studies than stadio, but after the open day, Stadio became my dads, mom and myselfs favourite place of education out of all the universities we visited (3 of the biggest universities in Cape Town)

With the wide variety of options, the focused, calm, friendly, creative and accepting atmosphere, the friendly and helpful staff and joyful students, stadio is most definitely the place where I will be studying next year and as a result I'm a lot more excited to start with my adult years than I was before and the nerves and uncer*****y that came with starting my adult years, has mostly left.

10/10 for everything. I will most definitely be going there next year irrespective of the challenges I might face.
