As silent as the grave; as active as a corpse

As quiet as the grave; as active as a corpse. My husband passed in September 2022. The Masters Office appointed the Executor in February 2023. When I followed up with Stabilitas at the end of March 2023, they said they are waiting for the appointment. After that they let me know they have received the letter of appointment, And then dead silence. I followed up again by e-mail. They let me know in May that the Letter to Creditors will be published in Business Day on a certain date in June and that they are drafting the Deed of Sale for our property. (When my husband passed we had a legally binding Offer to Purchase in place but his passing stopped the sale from being finalised) And since then - not a word from them. The Letter to Creditors has not been published in Business Day. There is no sign of the Deed of Sale. They ignore e-mails. They don't reply to Whatsap messages. All of this despite the initial promise that there would be "weekly feedback whether there is any news or not". No news is good news is not true
