Worst travel agency ever

I booked a trip to Thailand for two in May. I contacted the agency and asked them to reschedule my trip due to the corona virus outbreak, they’re response were “you can still travel as it’s not high risk”

I proceeded to ask, “Are you promoting the spread of the virus and what precautions is STA travel taking!” I did not get a reply for a week.

I contacted the branch manager and he also said, you can travel as there’s no travel ban such as Hong Kong China etc. My partner needs a visa to travel and at this point in time we CANNOT get a visa for a holiday, so no we cannot travel.

In my opinion, it’s ridiculous! How can these agencies operate under these circumstances. If there’s an outbreak of a virus, then we have to be refunded or make amends to our trip without being penalized for it. Things may worsen in May and there might be a travel ban.

Why can’t they take precautions now instead of harming their clients?
