Thai tour

My son in law (C vN Webster), his wife and daughter and me, LJ Wolmarans, registered and paid for a 14 day tour of Statravel to Thailand from 23 April until 9 May. <br> <br> Since the beginning of negotiations sales agent Kgomotso Thlapi made promises which she usually covered up in mails. She more than once indicated that land transportations costs will be free of charge. She even upgraded us to smarter hotels and with discounts up to R1 000 pp. and no surcharge for me as a single.. <br> <br> Suddenly she was withdrawn and Christie von Maltitz took over and everything changed back to the original hotels and original price of R12 999 pp and the land transport to the value of R3 426 was not included anymore. We did not mind going back to the original deal but we are not prepared to pay for the land travel costs because it was offered since the start of negotiations. I took the matter up with the manager mr Robert Thales who was very nasty over the phone. His reasons for not including the land transport costs anymore are not applicable and laughable. We feel that Statravel is solely responsible for the land transport costs of R3 426 but mr Stables refuses.
