Terrible service
<p> We booked a trip to Thailand with STA travel. Upon landing in Thailand the transfer that got booked for us by our travel agent took us to our wrong hotel. We then had to wait for another transfer service to take us to the correct hotel. When we arived at the correct hotel ( APK resort and spa ) , the hotel reprsented nothing that we saw on the internet or what our travel agent showed us. The hotel was fillthey, the receptionists could not speak a word of english, the beds had bedbugs and we had to lay down a deposit for our stay once we got to the hotel before we even got to see the room. We feel that our travel agent should of warned us about these things and should of known that the hotel was nothing like what she showed us. </p> <p>We also felt that once we had made the payment fot the trip that our travel agent lost interest in us and everything that we asked for was to much effort to do or to sort out. Such as changing a fight, as we found a earlier flight home from Dubai so our layover would be only 4 hours and not 6 hours. </p> <p>We asked a family member to go talk to our travel agent while we were in Thailand to see if she coud do anything to sort out these probelms. She told our family member that its is our problem now because WE booked the trip. This was nonsense as this is why you use a travel agent and not book the trip yourself. <br /><br />We regret using STA travel and would never recommned it to anyone. </p>
