STRESSED BY STAR TRAVEL= NO REFUND

We made bookings with Statravel to Dubai for June 2020. Our contact person was Mr Fouche. After the Corona outbreak, we decided to cancel the booking which was communicated with Mr Fouche on the 17th of March 2020, who informed us that they are busy with the refund because we specified that we want cash refund. He also told us that it will take 2 to 8 weeks to refund us. We contacted the agency once more to find out how far they were with our refunds and we were told that there is a new policy and they do not know when the refund will take place. We also wanted to know whether they will give us the interest accumulated from the money paid in, since they have no payment date. They did not respond to that. Personally, i feel angry and disappointed because they are not willing to pay back our money. I want to be paid my money because i am not earning any income, which places my family under a lot of stress. We cannot even go and beg on the street robots because of the lockdown. I cannot buy my sick elderly mother her medication because my money is still with Statravel. I am very much hurt by the stressful conditions they are placing me under.
