STAY AWAY FROM STA TRAVEL

STAY AWAY FROM STA TRAVEL!!!!! We started booking with Alexia last year. Paid deposit and pay the full outstanding amount more than a month before our departure to Thailand. On arrival at out hotel we were informed there is no booking for us. 10 at night in a strange city. We then got our own accommodation at the hotel next door which we had to pay for. The next day Anne got us booked into another hotel. What a disgrace. The room rate of the new hotel was half of the hotel for which we paid for. So the standard was much lower than what we paid for. And then they had the cheeck of telling us it was an upgrade. So they think we are stupid. The hotel was in the middle of the city. 1.5 km from the beach. The hotel in which we booked you just had to cross the street to get to the beach. The hotel is which we were then booked had no gym or spa like the one we paid for. The shower did not have a door but a shower curtain. On arrival at the "upgraded" hotel there was another persons hair on the one pillow. Our view was the backyard of people living there. The sundeck at the pool consisted of 4 beach chairs of which 2 were broken. Were they not supposed to use the deposit we paid to reserve our accommodation???? But that was an UPGRADE!!!!! STAY AWAY from them. They ***** your money!!!!
