STA Travel put us in the slumps of Singapore

I am disappointed with the service to say the least . I had booked a Bali and Singapore package through them . The Bali side of things went well , however when we arrived in Singapore it was a different story . We had been put in the slumps of Singapore. (Equivalent to the scenes in Hilbrow ) I raised the following complains with our Sta agent

1. The location was below par and not safe (this was at the ****s of Singapore). As seen from the pictures. 2. Transport does not drive up to the hotel (clearly this says a lot about safety as they were told to walk a few blocks up to get transport) 3. You will note the size of the bathroom, the shower is directly next to the toilet. I cannot imagine how that would have worked if they needed to shower and use the toilet at the same time 4. Our uber driver informed us that The place is known as a brothel (for lack of a better word). 5. The windows were secured with locks, this again speaks to the safety of the "hotel". Why else would they need LOCKS to secure the windows.

When we booked none of these issues had been made aware to us . There was a clear misrepresentation when the booking was done. We were forced to book a new hotel that same night we arrived . The hotel assured us that we would get a refund because we had not spent a night there , However STA Travel is now claiming that they cannot refund us because the pictures we sent to show them the condition of the hotel were not enough.
