STA Travel - False advertising

Good day, on 27th February I made a booking with Lee White from the Cape Town Kloof branch, for the Hong Kong Bali package. Booking ***. We paid our deposit to secure that package. On our itinerary it states that for our hotel in Hong Kong our booking is "Valid for room types: Superior City View / Superior Side Harbour View / Premier Hillview Room / Side Harbour View Suite". We were booked for the Superior City View room and after checking the tripadvisor reviews of this particular room (which were very bad), on the 27th February, I asked Lee if we could change to a side view harbour room instead. Today, on the 6th of March I get a response from Lee stating that we can only upgrade our room if we pay R300.00 per person???!!! It does not state on the itinerary, that it is valid for room upgrades at an additional charge so why are we being asked to pay for an upgrade when our booking is valid for that room type? SECONDLY I received a newsletter from STA Travel today stating that the exact same package is offered with free included transfers. When I queried this with Lee, she stated that she had not included transfers into our initial quote (without even asking us if we wanted transfers) and that because we booked last month our package does not include transfers even though it is the EXACT SAME package. We were not advised that if we waited to make our booking that we would be able to include free transfers and honestly the service (or lack thereof) that I have received from STA Travel has been APPALLING!!! How can STA travel advertise a package that includes transfers yet you do not include this in your customers quotations and your customers services agents do not advise your customers appropriately?
