STA Travel and its **** service

I have been shopping around for holiday packages and I came across STA Travel because they seem to have reasonable prices. I sent through an enquiry and got a call from an agent 2 days later. Ok fine. I wanted to enquire about a trip to Singapore, initially the agent was not helpful - I seemed to have more knowledge about the destination and route to travel. I asked to fly Emirates but the agent insisted on selling me Ethiopian Airlines flight(which Standard with this specific package). I told him I dont mind paying extra for this airline (it's way more comfortable than Ethiopian and I prefer Dubai stopover when I travel). Consultant initially told me they'll be unable to do so. And then when I promoted that money was not an issue,they proceeded to do so - I was taken aback about this,are white customers also treated like this as well? We black people cant afford to pay 5k extra for change of airline? Anyways,fast forward,the consultant sends through quotes, they're abnormally high,so I tell him I'll shop around and compare prices. He calls again, very snappy and adamant that I should take this quote because he has put it together and that he didn't have to do so because STA Travel deals with so many clients and I've just wasted his time. First of all, asking for a quotation does not mean I'm compelled to take the deal. ****ing bad attitude from this consultant. A few weeks pass,and I see another sale at STA Travel, so I enquire about a trip to EUROPE. I send through and enquiry and someone else calls me. She explains the difference between Contiki and an actual package- fine that's cool. Then towards the end of the call,she keeps pestering me that I need to commit to paying the R1000 deposit before she can send through a quotation because again "STA Travel deals with a lot of customers". I'm like how can I commit to something before I even see the quote. I'm utterly dissatisfied with the level of service I've received from STA Travel, so ****ing unprofessional. I dont know where you get your consultant from. This thing of oresurring clients to commit to deals is not on. And this condescending attitude of consultants is disgusting. You will never get a cent from me! You guys have poor service
